Lock-outs happen at the least convenient time, call Iowa Lock Doc to help you get back inside quickly. Call to verify a booking. 515-233-2491 Be prepared to provide: 1) The physical address of the lockout. 2) Identify the key if you can. Is it a Schlage, Kwikset, or other type of key? It's ok if you do not know. 3) If any pets are inside that may escape once the door is opened. It may be helpful to take a picture of your door and lock at your location to help me insure quick access. For convenience, a number may be provided to you text pictures to, or they can be emailed. Local Lockout Service is within a 15 mile radius of Ames. An additional $5 charge will be added for each 5 mile distance beyond the initial radius. The fee of $70 includes up to the first 45 minutes of entry attempt and necessary drivetime from time of dispatch. Exceptionally difficult situations may require more time for entry and would then be billed in additional 15 minute increments. After Hours (5:30pm-8am) rate is $100 Holiday premium (all day) rate is $130.
